First, the worst: Utah Jazz. New Orleans Jazz makes sense, yes, but upon moving to Utah--a state which was comfortable with its ban on dancing for God's sake...How about Utah Red Rocks or something. But not Jazz. And the next worse, or really the worst worse are any nicknames that make caricatures of real people, such as indians, redskins, blackhawks, chippewas, illini, etc., but that should probably go without saying.

Now then:

1. The Houston Astros have a single-A farm team in Kissimmee FL, thus, the Kissi-Me Ass-tros.
2. Buffalo Bills (What's a "bill"? a footballer from Buffalo, of course.)
3. Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers--nicknames tied to what people in those cities do for a living. Or did.
4. St. Louis Blues, for reasons that should be obvious, similar, I guess to #3.
5. Lansing Lugnuts.
6. Montreal Alouettes (fun to say, don't know what they are.)
7. Montreal Expos (defunct).
8. Vancouver Canucks
9. Ottowa Rough Riders, not to be confused with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, both of the Canadian Football League (like the Alouttes and Toronto Argonauts--hell the whole CFL wins!)
10. (Guess some more baseball would be nice): Hokkaido Ham-Fighters.
