(beta sch-meta)

well, i was absolutely (and nerdily) thrilled when i was able to be one of the "early birds" to switch to the new beta version of blogger.

of course, the damn thing didn't work. my blog wasn't able to be transferred, etc, so now i have to wait.

i hate waiting. i lack the "patience" gene. i do believe i was literally absent in elementary school the day we learned about the virtue/concept of patience. ditto for catechism. (aside: i was also, quite literally, absent from softball practice the day we learned to dive for the ball. always seem to miss those teachings which are, in a sense, the "last ditch effort". well, maybe patience should be the first effort...but therein lies the irony: i wouldn't know!)

ok. so, the latest:

-evie will be entering day care a week from tuesday. and holy schmoly, it will be costing about as much as a home. it's damn terrifying.
- watched lord of war a few nights ago. fantastic movie. still not a nicolas cage fan, but the movie itself was far above average. if syriana and fight club were spliced or bred, the result would be lord of war.
-yesterday's fortune cooke said "Oops.....wrong cookie." what?
-my brother left for boot camp. i'm about a basket-case and a half. when my sister went to iraq, i lost 20-30 punds. i currently tip the scales at about 120ish. if i respond the same way when anthony (who has enlisted as infantry) inevitably gets the orders, or before, as it seems to be hitting immediately...well, i may look quite sickly.
